I sold my EK today. Average buy was 2.58. My alerts went off for target $3.10 on good news and it sold at 3.08 picking up roughly a 20% gain.

Wow that was a fun day! I completed the 3.2 hellish miles of the Warrior Dash this past Sunday at the Windham / Catskills New York region in 47:34. I started the day with a couple pancakes and a half cup of black coffee. A quick off topic observation. For all the grilled chicken I [...]
I made the drive out to Buffalo last night for the Cozumel 5K. I was looking to get my time from the 26′s down into the 25′s. I’m not sure what my official time is but it shouldn’t be too far from 27:23. I ran the first mile in 7:20 but apparently rapidly went downhill [...]
I guess it’s all about the first and last 30 minutes of the day for the time being. My F5 is a longer term hold that I added to this morning. I didn’t get what I was looking for a couple days ago with BAC so I happily took an 8% gain before the close.
I’m down to 162lbs two days before my big weekend. This is the best shape that I have been in since August 2005! I’m still running and eating healthy after getting back from vacation, but I also made a significant change to my daily nutrition. I am a couple weeks into having a Shakeology nutritional [...]
I had a delicious fruit smoothie yesterday before one of my best runs of the summer. Unfortunately I did not think to take a picture of it before it was almost gone. What you see in the picture is what I have left for tomorrow. The credit goes to Jasmine for coming up with this [...]
Looks like I picked a reasonable spot this morning to get some more money in. I picked up some SWKS at 19.79. I’m still looking for 26.28 in SWKS. I picked up some BAC at 6.86. I’m already up about 10%. I’m looking for it to rally to 9.50 where I’ll sell it.
Tonight’s pre-race snack is a scrambled egg on top of a peanut butter multigrain bread sandwich, folded up like a taco.
I picked up SWKS when it reached 21.90, and set it to sell when it gets back to 26.28. +20%, eventually.
Ray, I’m curious… it sounds as if you are an active trader. How do you keep your transaction costs down? Also what about keeping track of everything for tax purposes (or is this all within a Roth)? Also, what are your net gains for being so aggressive, how do your gains or losses compare with [...]
